Doesnt reliably work anymore

I used this app faithfully for a couple of years on my iPhone 4 running old iOSes. Now I upgraded to an iPhone 6 and iOS 8, and for some reason the app wont remember the size of my water glass. That is, I set it at 16.00 in the morning and by the afternoon the glass setting is 15.85 oz or something. Oh well. Just an annoyance.
